Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini untuk mengetahui Peningkatan Keterampilan Menulis Teks Prosedur Menggunakan Strategi Project Based Learning pada siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 1 Samarinda. Metode penelitian menggunakan PTK pendekatan kuantitatif. Jumlah sampel 31 siswa kelas VII H. Prosedur penelitian menggunakan 3 siklus. Teknik analisis data analisis rata-tara hasil belajar, serta persentase untuk mengetahui tingkat keberhasilan menulis teks prosedur, semuanya menggunakan program excel. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran menulis teks prosedur pada siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 1 Samarida terlihat efektif dalam meningkatkan keterampilan menulis peserta didik tersebut. Ketuntasan belajar menulis teks prosedur siklus I terdapat 12 siswa atau 61,29% memperoleh nilai 74 kebawah termasuk dalam kategori tidak tuntas, sedangkan hanya 19 siswa lainnya atau sebanyak 38.71 % yang memperoleh nilai 75 ke atas termasuk pada kategori tuntas.

Improving the Skills of Writing Text Procedures Using Project Based Learning Strategies in Class VII Students of SMP Negeri 1 Samarinda

Abstract: This study aims to determine the improvement of procedural text writing skills using the Project Based Learning Strategy in seventh grade students of SMP Negeri 1 Samarinda. The research method uses a quantitative PTK approach. The sample size is 31 students of class VII H. The research procedure uses 3 cycles. The data analysis technique is the analysis of the average learning outcomes, as well as the percentage to determine the level of success in writing procedural texts, all using the Excel program. The results of the study indicate that learning to write procedural texts in seventh grade students of SMP Negeri 1 Samarinda appears effective in improving the writing skills of these students. The completion of learning to write procedural texts in cycle I was 12 students or 61.29% who obtained a score of 74 or below, included in the incomplete category, while only 19 other students or 38.71% who obtained a score of 75 or above, included in the complete category.
